Academic Tutors has been founded with the purpose of addressing a core issue in the Tutoring industry; there is a lack of communication between parent and tutor on the progression of the child’s learnings. This creates a fundamental issue, as the parent is unaware of the usefulness of tutoring for their child.
We have addressed this issue, presenting immediate opportunities for parents to be heavily involved with the outcomes created from our tutoring service.
The price for an in-person tutor ranges depending on many factors, such as how regular the sessions are, and the types of sessions required. Our tutoring cost for an in-person tutor typically starts at $45 an hour.
Your child can be tutored online or in person. The decision is up to you. Some like to be tutored in person as they believe their child learns better while some simply do not have the time to properly sit down with their tutor in person and must do it online.
We are open to payment in whatever way is best for you. We are happy to issue an invoice, or we can be paid in person, whichever solution is best for you.
Tutoring sessions usually take 1 hour. This allows the tutor enough time to work on the specific topic for the hour and the student enough time to work through any issues they might have.
We offer a free first session to make sure you like your tutor. If you don’t, then we look to find you another tutor who we think will suit your child and you will continue to work with you for free until you are satisfied with the tutor we have provided.
We will provide updates on your child’s progress and offer testing to allow us to benchmark their results and track learning so that we can truly see how they are progressing.
